Sterling silver, 26 prong set ombre carnelians

This one-of-a-kind carnelian and sterling silver necklace is completely hand-fabricated, made up of silver elements with a triangular profile that graduate in size from back to front and fasten with a matching toggle closure. Each element features Heather's signature carved texture. It was created using her collection of vintage steel metalworking files and serves to show off the star of the necklace, which is the group of prong set polished carnelian bar shaped stones displaying their natural color gradient from pale tangerine to deep barn red. This show stopping piece drapes beautifully around the neck, creating a subtle sound reminiscent of wind chimes as the wearer moves.
